QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS NEEDED
The Opportunity Council Home Repair and Weatherization office administers
a Minor Home Repair Program which is funded under Federal and State
Grants through the State of Washington. The general purpose of the
program is to improve housing that is occupied by low income home owners
in Whatcom County, Island County, and San Juan County. Health and safety
repair items receive the highest priority. Home repairs are done in
conjunction with the Weatherization Program. Contractors interested in
providing various contracting and sub-contracting services under the
Opportunity Council Minor Home Repair Program are required to be licensed,
bonded and insured in the State of Washington. If you wish to be
