Peer Circuit Rider

The Peer Circuit Rider Project (PCR) was initiated in 1999 by the State of Washington Department of Community Trade and Economic Development (DCTED), HousingImprovement Unit (HIP) as a partnership between the unit and the 26 agencies in Washington that provide low income weatherization services (to see a list of agencies click here).  The goal of the PCR project is to help provide training and technical assistance at the local level and respond to specific agency needs as they arise.  The project steering committee is the Technical Development Committee, a subcommittee of the Weatherization work Group.  Each year the project surveys agencies to determine needs for the following year, a draft schedule is established and the project contractor delivers the trainings throughout the state at various agencies.
